Beats Studio Buds Colors Moon Gray, Ocean Blue and Sunset Pink

Publish date: 2024-08-01

Apple is making Beats Studio Buds available in three new colors: Moon Gray, Ocean Blue and Sunset Pink. The new colors will be available starting tomorrow, April 13, at various retailers. I had a chance to go hands-on with the new colors to get a first look, and, predictably, they're delightful.

The Beats Studio Buds debuted in black, white and Beats Red in June 2021 and, in the U.S., remained available in those same options until now. Each of the new choices matches the case and earbuds' colors, while the interiors feature an accent hue.

The Ocean Blue, paired with a red Beats logo and light blue inside the charging case, is the standout of the three with the most immediate punch. But I really like how Sunset Pink pairs a light purple inside, and I think it's the most fun of the bunch. Moon Gray is the least notable by playing it safe in all regards. However, it is a sharp color, and the earbuds themselves are classic for the less adventurous type.

There's nothing new to say about how the earbuds sound or their fit. These are the same earbuds in new colors. The tiny wireless earbuds have ANC, 8 hours of listening time, sweat resistance and retail for $149.99.

Coinciding with the launch of these three new colors also comes "Locate My Beats'' and Android Widgets. The addition of Locate My Beats will allow Android users to locate their missing earbuds, similar to what iOS users can already do. Previous owners of Beats Studio Buds who use Android phones (compatible with the Beats app) will also gain access to the new software updates.

Moon Gray will be available for purchase at Amazon.

Ocean Blue will be available for purchase at Best Buy.

Sunset Pink will be available for purchase at Target.
